An Abnormal Clone with a der(12;22)(q10;q10) as a Rare Abnormality Within the Context of dup(1)(q25q43), Deletion of ABL1 and a t(8;21) in a Pediatric Male Patient with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. (PubMed, J Assoc Genet Technol)
Although it's in the favorable risk stratification category (NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines 2023), the presence of complex abnormalities, including 1q+, deletion of 12p, and a der(12;22), suggests genomic instability and poor prognosis. The patient died six months post-transplant.

Immune Checkpoint Blockade Enhances the Abscopal Effect of [177Lu]Lu-DOTA-JR11 PRRT in an SSTR2-Heterogeneous Bilateral Tumor Model. (PubMed, Eur J Nucl Med Mol Imaging)
PRRT combined with PD-L1 blockade remodels the tumor immune microenvironment, elicits potent systemic antitumor immunity, and enhances the abscopal effect in SSTR2-heterogeneous tumors. This strategy may help address target-expression heterogeneity in radionuclide therapy.

Recurrent SWI/SNF Deficiency Defines a Subset of Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma With Distinct Clinicopathologic Features. (PubMed, Mod Pathol)
Death due to disease or therapy-related complications occurred in 4/8 (50%) cases in the SWI/SNF-deficient group and 6/7 (86%) of cases in the SWI/SNF-intact group. Our findings expand the knowledge of the clinicopathologic and molecular features of pediatric PTCL and highlight SWI/SNF-deficient T-cell lymphoma as a biologically distinct type of PTCL that is associated with characteristic clinicopathologic features.

An Atypical Presentation of a Non-neural Granular Cell Tumor. (PubMed, Cureus)

Blastoid Mantle Cell Lymphoma in the Leukemic Phase: Resolving a Morphological Dilemma Through Flow Cytometry. (PubMed, Cureus)
Flow cytometric immunophenotyping demonstrated bright CD45 expression with low side scatter and positivity for CD19, CD20, CD38, CD5, CD79b, and FMC7 with negativity for CD34, CD23, CD200, and CD10, suggesting blastoid transformation of MCL rather than de novo ALL. This case highlights the critical role of flow cytometry in distinguishing blastoid MCL from acute leukemia, thereby preventing misdiagnosis and ensuring appropriate therapeutic decision-making.

Lipid metabolic markers CD36 and CD147 are expressed in ccRCC tumors and correlations with immune cell subsets suggest their role in suppressing anti-tumor immunity. These findings suggest the existence of a metabolic-immune axis in ccRCC and provide a rationale for targeting TAM metabolism to enhance immunotherapeutic efficacy.

Collectively, our study indicates that CD45-targeted RIT severely impacts hematopoietic and EC niche recovery compared to non-targeted approaches. Future studies are required to determine the long-term consequences of such RIT-driven effects on BM niche physiology and how BM niche reprogramming by RIT affects cancer cells.

IHC-detected MDM2 overexpression identifies a distinct subset of plasma cell neoplasms characterized by reduced early treatment responsiveness and significantly shorter RFS. These findings support the potential of MDM2 as a prognostic biomarker for early relapse risk in MM. Incorporating MDM2 assessment into diagnostic and prognostic workflows may enable more individualized treatment approaches. Further validation through prospective studies is recommended.

Its supplementation has been shown to improve programmed cell death-1 blockade responsiveness in aged mice. Although clinical studies in humans have yielded inconsistent results regarding the effect of chronological age on ICI efficacy, identifying patients with "age-related" immune microenvironments may enable stratified therapeutic approaches based on insights from preclinical aging models.
